Saugus Nor'ester Storm Damage

This type of renowned storm often wreaks havoc on Saugus properties from the roof down to the basement. An immediate response can mitigate the storm damage. Our SERVPRO crew can arrive soon after the call for help and tarp the roof to prevent additional rainwater penetration. Then, we can start the water removal, drying, and controlled demolition of the residence's interior. The ceiling material, pink insulation, and other elements must be safely removed to reduce falling objects' risks, especially wet from the soaking. As shown in the After Photo, we strive to control the environment by sealing the breached ceiling with 6-mil thick polypropylene sheeting. We can then isolate the attic crawlspace for separate drying using high-powered air circulation equipment and dehumidifiers. This project can take many days, but our goal is to provide a seamless transition from initial storm mitigation and cleanup to a final build back of the storm-damaged property. We are here to help.
